Spilus, a non-profit organization, has developed and produced the 'English Bible Study Courseware,' led by Teacher Vincent Xiong, with oversight and revisions from senior American teacher at ivyGoal, Principal Nick. The 'English Bible Study Courseware' inherits over a decade of courseware development technology and experience from ivyGoal English. It presents the details and stories of the Bible in a simplified and narrative form. For lower grades, the courseware is bilingual, in both English and Chinese, while for higher grades (6th to 12th), it's in English only. The difficulty of vocabulary corresponds to the respective grade level, making it easy for students to read and understand without losing the core content of the Bible. Using a natural repetition learning method, the courseware employs simple and understandable words, repeated multiple times, aiding students in long-term memory retention. Students don't need to memorize words deliberately; they naturally enhance their English vocabulary and reading skills through reading, post-class exercises, and writing. By studying the 'English Bible Study Courseware,' students can efficiently improve their reading abilities while also gaining an implicit understanding of Christian cultural ideas.
